Pulled Pork/ Hot, Fast, and EASY

If you want a pulled pork recipe that is easy, here it is. Hot, fast and EASY. The most common question I get about BBQ is how do I make pulled pork at home. Hot, fast, and easy is my answer. Pulled pork can be frozen and reused for multiple dishes, so I try to keep a stockpile in the freezer. Don't get me wrong, I cook butts several different ways, but most of the time I am running behind and need to cook hot and fast as to get supper fixed for the girls. If you choose to inject, this Dr Pepper injection is awesome. I plan on using it more often, may even try it in a comp. It is simple.

12 oz can of DP

2 tbsp of MOJO bbq

1 1/2 ounce of sriracha

Mix to dissolve and inject. That simple.

Use your favorite rub (MOJO bbq) and give a good coat. Let it sweat while you fire up your smoker of choice with pecan for an awesome smoke. I put on at 400° and let temp fall to 300° to finish cook. You can run at 300° the entire cook and still achieve the same results. Cook butts for 3 hrs unwrapped then wrap and continue to cook for 2 1/2 more hours or until you reach an internal of 203° for great pulled pork tenderness.

Pull and ENJOY!!
